AK Athletics Customer Resource Center
Use these measuring, installation and setup resources to understand what your space needs before choosing a product, requesting a quote or moving forward with your project.
Plan With Confidence
Start with accurate measurements, understand the mounting or setup method, and document anything that may affect product selection. Once you know what your space requires, you can shop available products or send the details to AK Athletics for a quote.
Accurate Measurements First
Custom-fit padding is built from the measurements you provide. Measure the actual structure carefully, document anything that may affect fit or mounting, and use final dimensions before requesting pricing or placing an order.
Measure the wall area and note doors, windows, outlets, corners, baseboards and other obstructions.
Measure the actual pole circumference and provide the required finished pad height.
Provide exact column side widths or I-beam face widths rather than measuring an existing pad.
Plan the Installation
Review the product, mounting method and site conditions before installation begins. These preparation steps help your team confirm the plan, document the space and resolve questions before drilling, cutting or altering the product.
Review your order or product information and use the installation resource that matches the exact padding, mat or equipment configuration.
Record exact dimensions and take clear photos of walls, floors, structural features, fixtures, obstacles and access points.
If the mounting surface, measurements, cutouts or installation method are unclear, contact AK Athletics before drilling, cutting or altering the product.
