8' x 15.5' x 5" Competition Landing Mat
The AK Athletics 8' x 15.5' x 5" Competition Landing Mat provides a large, firm, supportive landing surface for gymnastics training and landing applications.
The 5" foam core consists of 3.625" of high-density 70 lb. compression polyurethane foam laminated to 1.375" of cross-linked polyethylene foam. This dual-foam construction provides firm cushioning and support to help absorb impact during landings and falls.
For easier storage and transportation, the mat features a three-panel design with two folds. All three panels are 8' wide, with a 93" long center section and two 46.5" long end sections. Both end sections fold inward over the center section for more compact storage. Built-in handles provide convenient grip points for moving and repositioning the mat.
The cover combines heavy-duty 18 oz. vinyl on the top and bottom with breathable black mesh side panels. The mesh allows air to escape as the foam compresses during impact. The vinyl features a soft, smooth matte finish, high-performance UV additives for color retention, and BACshield protection to inhibit mold, mildew, and bacteria growth.
