6' x 12' x 5" Competition Landing Mat

The AK Athletics 6' x 12' x 5" Competition Landing Mat provides a firm, supportive landing surface designed for gymnastics competition and training. Its layered foam construction combines two different foam materials to provide cushioning and stability for landings and falls.

The 5" foam core consists of 3.625" of high-density 70 lb. compression polyurethane foam laminated to 1.375" of cross-linked polyethylene foam. This combination creates a firm, supportive landing surface while providing impact cushioning.

For easier storage and transportation, the mat features a three-panel design with two folds. Each 3' end section folds inward, reducing the mat from its full 6' x 12' size to approximately 6' x 6' x 10" when folded. Built-in handles provide convenient grip points for moving and repositioning the mat.

The cover combines heavy-duty 18 oz. vinyl on the top and bottom with breathable black mesh side panels. The mesh allows air to escape as the foam compresses during impact. The vinyl features a soft, smooth matte finish, high-performance UV additives for color retention, and BACshield protection to inhibit mold, mildew, and bacteria growth.
