Athlete Spotlight: Jacob Longcrier
We’ve had the opportunity to work with Jacob Longcrier over the past few years, and it’s been amazing to watch his growth both on and off the mat.
After recently upgrading his training space with custom AK Athletics wrestling mats, Jacob continues to put in the kind of work that defines high-level athletes. His mindset is simple, but powerful, something passed down from his dad:
“Everything in life is hard. Choose your hard.”
That approach shows up in everything he does, from early morning training sessions to the consistency it takes to compete at the next level. Along the way, he’s also had the support of those closest to him, including his best friend Nathan Longcrier, who pushes him to be better every single day.
Now, we’re excited to share that Jacob has officially committed to continue his wrestling career at California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt. This is a huge step forward and a direct result of the work he’s put in day after day.
We’re proud to continue working with Jacob as he takes his training to the next level.
