Our Martial Arts Octagon Mats are 1.5 inches thick and 12 feet long measured from opposite sides of the octagon. Smooth non slip 23 ounce vinyl is heat laminated on both the top and bottom of the mat, allowing different color choices for the top and bottom. This also doubles the lifetime of the mat because the the mat can be used for years and then flipped over giving a brand new surface.

The foam is a cross-linked EVA blend polyethelene foam which offers the same shock absorption as football helmet padding.

For $100 more a border is included. The border is held in place with pressure sensitive double sided tape.

We also supply double sided tape to be applied to the bottom side vinyl to prevent mat movement. When tape is applied these mats will not move unless you disassemble the floor system.
